Internet Merchant Account

Merchant Accounts Express was one of the first in the country to offer Internet Merchant Accounts. An Internet Merchant Account is a type of credit card processing account specifically geared to accept web based transactions in real time. Since transactions are effectively 'keyed' into a website by the customer when they checkout, and not swiped, the rates on an Internet merchant account are equivalent to a keyed account, where transactions are keyed into a terminal, such as when orders are taken over the phone.

Beware of other merchant account providers that try to charge you higher rates on an Internet merchant account than a standard keyed account. There should be no difference. At Merchant Accounts Express we do not charge extra for Internet transactions vs. keyed transactions.
